Red Potatoes on the Grill

I love these red potatoes in the foil packet.

I am one of those Americans that like steak and potatoes!

I love potatoes in any shape and form.

How to Grill Red Potatoes in a Foil Packet:

  1. Use an about 18″ piece of foil.
  2. Place chopped potatoes, butter, salt and pepper in the middle of the foil.
  3. Roll up the edges on the foil to create a packet.
  4. Place on the top rack of the grill for about 45 minutes with the grill on high.

Lemon Lime Porkchops

If you haven’t noticed by now but I LOVE to grill…

I doesn’t even have to be summer time, I have been known to grill in the middle of winter (with several inches of snow on the ground).

However, sometimes chicken gets a little boring and I’ll be honest I can’t afford to have steak every night, that’s when I bring in the pork chops. Pork chops are another great alternative.

Oh such an amazing meal!


  • 4 pork chops
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. ground chili powder


  1. Combine all ingredients into a Ziploc baggie.
  2. Marinate for at least 4 hours (the longer the better).
  3. Grill until slightly pink in the middle (about 4 to 8 minutes per side).

Italian Dressing

Italian dressing is great on salads or makes a great marinade.

I love to a good steak that has been marinade in Italian Dressing!

Add some corn on the cob, baked potato and a garlic bread and it makes an amazing steak even more amazing!

Italian Dressing Ingredients:

  • 1 & 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 2 tbsp. oregano
  • 1 tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. ground basil
  • 1/4 tsp. ground thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. dried celery


  1. Mix all ingredients in a air tight container.
  2. Use 2 tbsp. of Italian Dressing mix, 1/4 cup vinegar, 2 tbsp. water and 2/3 cup olive oil.
  3. Marinade a steak for at least an hour (longer is better), grill as long as desired.
